Sir Thomas* Wilford, who has been an inmate of a private hospital in Wellington for the past two weeks, was reported to be seriously ill last night.
Mr E. F. Connolly was unanimously re-elected chairman of the Whangaroa Hospital Board at its annual meeting in Kaeo on Monday. Mr C. Martin pointed out that the operation of Social Security would impose a considerable amount of additional work, which Mr Connolly said he would find time to perform'. 1
