Another £5 from Hiknrangi this week! That’s the spirit. Hiknrangi is deter* mined to catch up on Matapmiri if it can. . „ . . • Well done, Matapoun, said one Hiknrangi Tohunga when she read of the great success. “But we intend to beat them if we can.” Five pounds this week still leaves Hiknrangi in .second place. Work hard, Matspouri. And congratulations, Hikurangi on paying - for your third club member! Towai, you’ll see, has entered the field this week. With a message in verse—which I’ll probably print soon— Kitty Allen intimated that she intends broaching the question of a campaign at Towai. Her 1/6 will set the ball rolling. . Although we have not received the proceeds yet, Springfield also commenced its campaign on Saturday last with a well-attended picture evening and dance in the school. Matahourua Hapu has another shilling this week. Steadily its total is growing. And just look at OUR total to date. Another £1 4/2 and we’ll have £6O. What excitement there’ll be when we reach our first £IOO. It won’t be long now, Northlanders. Work hard!
