Curtis Heads Whan Valley Qualifications

Playing excellent golf under trying conditions, E. Curtis headed the competition at Whau Valley last Saturday, when the first round of the Duff Cup was played, his card reading 83 —7 76. The next best cards were H. Simpson 101—24—77, and F. Taine 94—15—79.
