Late Rates For Maungakaramea Offering
The North Auckland Farmers’ Coop., Ltd., reports a fair yarding at its Maungakaramea sale yesterday. The offering consisted mainly of dairy cows and heifei’s, which met with good competition. Prices were firm on late rates. Boner and store cattle came forward in small numbers and sold at late rates.
Good Jersey heifers made from £5 10/ to £6 5/; medium, £4 10/ to £5; small, £3 12/6; good Jersey cows, £5 to £6 2/6; medium, £4 10/; inferior, £2 10/; light fat cows, £4 15/ to £5; fat heifers, light, £45/; forward conditioned bullocks, £7; tunners, £2 10/; heavy boner cows, £2 16/ to £3 1/; medium, 35/ to £2 8/; light, 10/ to £l.
