Commission To Open Parliamentary Session

[Special to “Northern Advocate”l WELLINGTON, This Day.

The 26th Parliament of New Zealand will be brought into formal being by the appointment by the Government from among the members of the Legislative Council of a Commission, of which the function is to declare Parliament open for the conduct of the legislative business of the country.

The commission to open Parliament, which will begin its first session on. June 27, was announced today to consist of the Speaker, Sir Walter Camcross (.Taranaki), the Hon. Mark Fagan (Leader of the Legislative Council), the Hon. W. Perry (Wellington), the Hon. T. Doyle (Southland) and the Hon. J. Alexander (Auckland).
