Two Men Fatally Hit At Christchurch

A married man, Mr Daniel Gunn, who suffered serious head injuries when knocked down by a c,ar in the city on Friday night, died in the CHristchurch Public Hospital yesterday afternoon.

Severe injuries from which he died on the way to the hospital, were suffered by a pedestrian in a collision with a car .about 5.15, p.m. on Saturday. He was Mr William Henry Payne, an elderly man, of Islington. The accident occurred on the Main South Road, near the Islington Hotel.
