Von Nida Fails
In the American national open golf championship, at Philadelphia, the Australian player, N. von Nida. did a round of 73 to qualify with an aggregate of 152. All over 152 were eliminated.
Byron Nelson. Denny Slmte and Craig Wood tied with scores of 284. and will play off over 18 holes on Sunday. Von Nida, with 30G, was hopelessly out, of the running.
