Apples are in strong demand, and prices are firmer. New Zealand apples by the Opawa, Fort Townsville and Piako sold as follows:—Jonathans, 10/to 12/-; Sturmers, 11/6 to 12/-; Cleopatras, 11/- to 11/6; Dunns, 10/3 to 10/9; Grannie Smiths, 10/9 to 14/-.
