Ngapuhi Beat Kaikohe At Basketball
[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] KAIKOHE, This Day.
The Kaikohe basketball team was defeated on Saturday by Ngapuhi, 11—7.
Played at the Recreation Reserve, Kaikohe, the game was interesting throughout, and was thoroughly enjoyed by a large number of spectators.
Contrary to the excellent way in which Kaikohe played on the previous Saturday, when it defeated Okaihau. Saturday’s performance lacked finish, the team's goalies being not up to form.
