New Service Car Link Via Mangakahia

Institution of a daily service-bar run between Kaikoha and Whangarei and return, is welcomed by farmer? on the Mangakahia Road. Those living between the twin bridges 'ai.u Kaikohe, when approached by the “Northern Advocate” yesterday. said they had previously been forced to rely upon inadequate communications.
Better Mail Service Wanted,
The service now commenced by Dalbeth’s Motors will be a great help to farmers, not only on the highway but also on the many important sideroads which junction with it, giving them quicker contacts with both Whangarei and Kaikohe. Several of the farmers interviewed believed that the time had arrived for a daily mail service. Considering the number of residents involved, it was absurd, they thought, that the mail service was only twice weekly. “It is a pity that the daily service which has now been inaugurated does not bring us daily mails,” said a farmer from Tautoro, “for although we are only six miles from. Kaikohe we cannot get a daily service. “Advocates Delivered Daily.”
“Then, again, the new service will assist us in that we will be able to obtain our “Advocate” on the same night on which if is published, whereas before we had to wait until'’Wednesdays and Fridays, when we received a bundle all at once.”
