The auxiliary ketch Hispaniola has again returned , here,, this, time with a broken chronometer and a shortage of food, after getting within 90 miles of Lord Howe Island. The ketch will sail again for San .Francisco in a fortnight’s time. Cn April 9 the Hispaniola with the owner, Mr O’Brien, his wife and two children aboard, left Sydney for Lord Howe..- Island and Auckland. However, she met with a series of mishaps in gales and returned to Sydney on April 26 for repairs, setting out again on May 10, .
