Precautions Against Sabotage
(Received 2.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 1
The Attorney-Ceneral, Mr Murphy, revealed that the Government has taken extraordinary measures to guard against espionage on the west coast, particularly at San Francisco. He said that the new measures were adopted at least partly because of the unprecedented numbers of suspected sabotage acts at aeroplane factories. Similar measures would be taken in the east, if necessary.
