Acceptors For Ashburton Trots

[Special to “Northern Advocate'’] ASHBURTON, This Day. Record acceptances have been received by the Ashburton Trotting Club for its winter meeting, to be held next Monday.

Great interest will be taken in the running of the Sapling' Stakes, which carries a stake of 1200 sovs., for twe-year-olds. Seventeen youngsters are to contest the event this year, and the issue is at present very open. Recent winners in Highland Scott and Sir Julian are most favoured, while Three Tons and Gallant Chief have many friends. The acceptances are: —
