I.R.A. Banned By New Eire Enactment
(Independent Cable Service.) (Received 11.0 a.m.) LONDON, May 24. The Eire Treason Bill, inflicting the death penalty for treason, has passed the Dail. The “Daily Telegraph” says the Bill provides that harbourers of traitors may be gaoled or fined £SOO, states the Australian Associated Press. The employment of the title “Irish Republican Army,” is prohibited. Reports of the Irish Republican Army activities are banned, and membership of illegal organisations is penalised.
