Anglo - Portuguese Alliance
(Received 11.30 p.m.) LISBON, May 23. The Prime Minister of Portugal, Dr Antonio Salazar, in the National Assembly, stressed Portugal’s firm adherence to the Anglo-Portuguese alliance. He added: “I know I am speaking in the name of my country when I say we are determined to fulfil faithfully our obligations to the alliance,”
