Dental Clinic for Otamatea

FAPAROA, This Day. Establishment of a dental clinic at Maungaturoto in September next was advanced a further stage at a meeting of school committees held at Faparfoa last evening.

Hukatere. Ararua, Paparoa and Mareretu schools were represented. Matakohe school, which is within the area zoned by the department, was not represented. Mrs T. Minchcr, secretary of the Dental Clinic Committee, and Mr W. Williams, member of the Committee, were in attendance and explained the proposal to the meeting.

At the conclusion of their addresses it was unanimously decided to support the scheme and stops were taken to secure the raising of the £l5O required by June 20. It was hoped that the clinic and all its facilities would be available for the children of Otamatea by the end of September.
