AFTER WATCHING THE GAME BETWEEN NEWTON SENIORS AND PORTLAND-HIKURANGI COMBINED AT JUBILEE PARK ON SATURDAY, MR J. A. REDWOOD, A NEW ZEALAND LEAGUE SELECTOR, AND PRESIDENT OF THE NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL, WAS AGREEABLY SURPRISED AT THE STANDARD OF PLAY SHOW 7 N BY THE NORTH!.ANDERS SO EARLY IN THE SEASON.
