Restoration Of London Funds

[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] AUCKLAND, This Day. The request that it should be given the opportunity of yubmittlng a scheme to the Government covering the depletion of London funds, has been made by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, through its president, Mr A. Ely, in the following telegram to the Prime Minister, Mr Savage. . .“In view of the Supreme Court’s decision regarding import licensing, and the prospect of legislation covering the position, the Auckland Chamber of Commerce suggests that this chamber and other commercial interests be given the opportunity to submit alternative suggestions for dealing with the depletion of London funds and otherwise implementing the Government policy.”
