Dargaville Player Wins Whangarei Ladies’ Open

Visitors from most of the Northland clubs were present at the Whangarei Ladies’ Golf Club’s open day. Mrs D. Boys, of Dargaville, handed in the best net score, her card being 143 for the two rounds. The senior medal round was won by Mrs L. R, Nelson, of Whangafei, 97 20 —77, and the junior by Mrs Feist, of Whangarei, 98 —26—72. Mrs Wilkinson, of Te Kopuru, 1 down, won the senior bogey, and Mrs D. Boys the junior, with 4 up.
