ISpecial to i: Nortnern Advocate”] AUCKLAND, This Day.
Norman von Nida, of Australia, and A. Murray, C. Clements and E. J, Moss, of Auckland, were responsible for the most brilliant exhibition of golf over seen in Auckland, when the four professionals were engaged in a four-ball match at Middlemore yesterday. After a splendid match, von Nida and Murray defeated Clements and Moss by 2 and 1. Von Nida had an approximte stroke round of 70, while Murray was 06 for 17 holes. Clements spoiled an otherwise brilliant round with a six at the last, but his was a 'meritorious performance. Moss played some fine golf to the greens, although his putting was not as good as usual.
