Riponui Clearance Sale

Walter Wakelin reports having held a successful clearing sale on account of Mr W. O. Clark, Riponui, on Saturday. The cattle sold well, considering their condition and also the fact that 20 calving dates or production figures were available. The cows which were due to calve in the spring sold from £3 10/- to £7 10/-; several cows in milk sold from £4 to £6 10/-; horses and sundries also met with ,a ready market.
