Brisk Competition At Kamo
The North Auckland Farmers' Coop., Ltd., reports a fair yai'ding at its weekly Kamo stock sale yesterday. Competition was fairly brisk for boners and fat cows, but store stock was rather dull of sale. Medium-quality dairy cows (no nice cows yarded) realised £5 to £5 10/-; others, £3 15/- to £4 17/6; best dairy heifers, £5 to £5 10/-; backward and inferior heifers, £3 to £4 5/-; light fat cows, £3 10/- to £4 5/-; fat Jersey cows. £4 to £4 10/-; boner cows, good quality. £3 to £3 6/-; medium, £2 5/- to £2 17/6; light, 22/- to 35/-; cows and calves, £3 15/- to £4; two-year-old Shorthorn heifers, r.w.b., £3 10/-; boner bulls, £5 to £5 10/-; aged ewes, empty, 7/-; small wether hoggets, 6/6.
