One Tree Point Brandi Affairs
There was a fairly large attendance of members and friends at the May meeting of the One Tree Point branch of the Women’s Division Farmers' Union.
Mrs Sanson, the now president reported on the provincial executive meeting held at Whangarei and final arrangements were completed for the birthday dance. Frizes for most points gained during the year were won by Mesdames Tebbutt .and McKenzie, who tied for first place with Mrs Farnham, third.
At the close of the meeting presentations were made to Mesdames Watson .and Tebbutt, past president and secretary, respectively, for their good work in the interest of the branch. Beth expressed their thanks.
Hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Sloane, Patterson and Coe.
