About 100 contestants will be taking part in the North Auckland golf tourney which commences next Thursday. • Players will attend from all parts of the north, and from Auckland and other southern clubs. Three days will be required for the tournament, and the lime for the.start of each day’s play will depend on the final numbers taking part. The tournament will conclude on Saturday afternoon. Of special interest to golfers will be an exhibition match tomorrow featuring Von Nida. the, Australian professional, who will take part in an 18-hole match with J. Galloway, Jack Glanville and S. Clarke.
