Cruising Club Dance At Okaihau
The second of a series of dances fo raise funds for the erection of a jetty at Waipapa, was successfully held recently in Okaihau by the Kerikeri Cruising Club.
There was a large attendance of dancers, who spent an enjoyable time to excellent music.
The hall was delightfully decorated, and several novelty dances were held.

Moir, floral moire taffeta; |stokes, black velvet trimmed with silver lame; W. Murray, black velvet and silver trimmings; Harcourt Alexander, amethyst taffeta; V. McCready, silver tinsel georgette; K. Bryson, black satin and cream lace; A. Faithful!, black angel skin with gold trimmings; R. P. Geary, purple silk; P. R. Lewis, navy satin relieved with gold; Mark Waters, pink angel skin with gold trimmings; C. W. Brown, green satin with yellow top; W. K. Munny, navy costume; J. Jones, floral crepe; Misses M. Cope, green lace; E. Ogle, coloured striped organza; B. Brown, blue floral silk with pink shoulder spray; Nancy King, cream taffeta; W. Holland, pink satin; D. Faithfull, blue taffeta; A. Lewis, pink and white spotted Swiss voile; E. Lewis, gold shimmer satin and gold lace; J. Avery, blue crepe de chine; W. Warmington, floral georgette; Molly Clark, red marocain: H. Jeffries, navy floral art silk; F. E. Blundell, red pheasant’s eye taffeta; Hannah Baker, pale blue crepe de chine; K. Copeland, black georgette; J. Pearson, floral georgette; M. Hei Hei, yellow rayon; L. Kingi, floral organza with blue coatee trimmed with silver; T. Brown, red frock; A. Campbell, black taffeta; E. Thomas, brick red; P. Jones, pale blue moire taffeta and coat to match; A. Harrison, scarlet shimmer satin with ivory bolero; Ona Harris, black taffeta; P. Humphreys, navy taffeta and striped bolero; G. Callender, embossed satin and silver lame.
