New Graders For County Council

Two new power graders have been purchased by the Whangarei County Council.

Cne of the graders is for immediate delivery, and the other will be forwarded at a later dale. For some time the council has been considering the purchases, and a special committee was set up to investigate the matter and also to look into the condition of the existing graders.

As a result, a decision has been rnr.de to purchase two additional units.

It has been borne upon every councillor that insufficient machines are available for carrying out the work of the county,” remarked Cr. F. Elliott at the council meeting today.
