Retention Of Boards Favoured By Teachers

The Primary School Teachers' Conference today rejected a remit which proposed the abolition of education boards on the ground of the extraordinary and extreme dangers of over-centralis'ation. The conference reaffirmed its decision that the office of its president should not be a full-time salaried position.
