Application Of Conscription Bill
(Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 10. The “Evening Standard” says that conscription will apply to men living v in foreign countries, but they may receive special consideration. The Bill will not apply to men living in the r Dominions or other British territories.

At the wool sales 8628 bales were offered, including 5195 New Zealand, and 7286 bales were sold.. • A moderate selection was offered, and the demand was sustained, with the bulk sold .at firm rates. New Zealand scoured crossbred, “Whakatu,” 13£d. Slipe crossbred lambs, “Awarua,” 10id to 133 d.
