Colonel W. D. Weir, officer commanding the northern military district, arrived early this afternoon to inspect the annual camp of the First Composite Mounted Rifles now being held at Kensington Park. '

Dr. W. E, Henley, of New Zealand, arrived 'at Sydney yesterday after 10 years’ post-graduate work in London hospitals. He will continue his journey to New Zealand by the Monowai today.

Major-General P. J. Mackesy, and Major G. H. Clifton, M.C., of the Headquarters Staff, will arrive in Auckland from Wellington today, and will proceed to Whangarei to inspect the camp of the Fii’st Composite Mounted Rifles Regiment.
