You would be thrilled, Alma. Yes, I like holidaying in the country, too. Mora Firilayson —Yes, Mora, there s thing to stop two members of the same family accompanying us on the Wellington trip if their expenses are paid. Edwin Williams says: “I am enclosing a shilling which I earned for doing odd jobs for mother. I want it put to the Centennial Fund for Backblockers.”—Many thanks, Edwin. Errice Donaldson—l know how hard Hikurangi is working, Errice. I hope that you, too, will be one of those accompanying us on our excursion to Wellington. Thank you for the jokes. Betty Hilton Jones— So both you and your sister liked the Kupe Club badges. They are nice, Betty. And you like writing letters, too. I most certainly like receiving them. Frances Sadler of Punaruku says; “I am sure you are surprised to hear that we are having another dance. I am very glad we are doing so. I would very much like to send in some riddles. We are all trying to collect some rags to make things to sell.” Another dance! * You’re certainly keeping the ball rolling at Punaruku, Frances. I like the idea of making things to sell.
