PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Onerahi Town Board, in pursuance and exercise of its power’s under the Town Boards Act, 1908, the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, the Municipal Corporations Act, 1926, thel Rating Act, 1925, the Local Bodies; Loans Act, 1926, and all amendments therof respectively, and every other power it enabling, intends at its meeting to be held on the 13th June, 1939, to make and levy the following Rates and Fees: — An Amalgamated Rate of 6d in the £ in lieu of the following:— General Rate of 3d in the £. Conversion Loan Special Rate of 3d in the £. Non-Consumers Water Rate of -J-d in the £, minimum charge 5/-. Water by Meter 1/- per 1000 gals., payable half-yearly; minimum

The foregoing said Rate to be on the Unimproved Value of all rateable properties appearing in the Valuation Roll of the Town District of Onerahi for the time being in force and for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1939, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1940, and payable in each case in one sum on the 14th day of August, 1939, at the Board’s Office, at the Town Hall, Onerahi, to the Board’s Collector for the time being. That the Onerahi Town Board hereby further resolves that an additional 10 per centum shall be added to all Rates unpaid at the expiration of six months and fourteen days from the demand thereof, and shall be payable and recoverable accordingly.
