Mr R. R. Wright, Clerk of Court, Kaitaia, is on annual leave, and is being relieved by Mr K. F. Walker, of the Court staff, Whangarei.
The president and vice-president of the Whangarei A. and P. Society, Mr H. W. James and Mr A. K. Franks, are attending the Auckland Winter Exhibition. ,
The Minister of Education, the Hon. P. Fraser, is confined to his bed with influenza, and consequently was unable to officially open the Technical School Teachers’ Conference, which assembled at Wellington yesterday.
