This Week’s Competition
Believe it or not the same letter placed in front of each word suggested by these pictures will form another word. For instance if you decide the all-important letter was H it would do for the first picture because it would turn “ear” into “hear.” Your job is to discover the correct letter then write out the 16 groups stating the word suggested by the picture and in brackets after it, the word made up when the extra letter Is added. Easy enough, isn’t it? But you’ll have to think hard. Add to your entry the best riddle you know and post yoiir work to reach Kupe, c/o “Advocate” Office, Water Street, Whangarei, not later than a fortnight from today. There are half-crown prizes.
