The draw for the opening day of the 1939 Rugby season fn the Bay of Islands sub-union on Saturday is as follows, homo teams being mentioned first:— Seniors.—Motatau v. Kaikohe: Oliria v. Rataniwha: Ohaenwai v. Kawakawa. Juniors. —Western zone: Okaihau v. Ohacawai; Kaikohe A v. Oromahoe; Kaikohe B a bye. Eastern zone: Moerewa v. Tamarere; Maromaku v. Motatau; Opua a bye. Third grade.—Kaikohe v. Kaikohe D.H.S.; Kawakawa D.H.S-. v. Tamarere.
