Governor Of Bengal
[British Official Wireless .] (Received 2 p.m.) RUGBY, April 21
The appointment is announced of Sir John Woodhead as Governor of Bengal as from June 11, in consequence of the grant of leave to Sir Robert Reid, Acting-Governor. It is intended that Sir John Woodhead should hold office until the autumn, when the vacancy created by the death of Lord Brabourne will be permanently filled.
