Plunket Society

The usual monthly meeting of the Whangarei branch of the Plunket Society was held in the Mayor’s Room on Tuesday, April 18. Present: Mesdames Thorne (in chair), Christianson, Brake, Stevenson, E. W. Thomson, Gumming, Armstrong, Hart and Surman.

The nurse's report was read and adopted. Accounts amounting to £l4 4/5 were passed for payment. Nurse Thomas’ report for March was as follows:—New cases, adults 26, babies 23; visits to homes, headquarters, 156, outstations 15; visits to office, 467, outstations 185. The following places were visited once: Maungakaramea, Waipu, find Pipiwai; 'and Hikurangi twice.
