GERMANY Improvements in the manufacture of synthetic rubber' in Germany has made it possible to lower prices. According to that estimate, the collective present-day worth of motor-cars owned by the people of America would exceed £1,256.000,000.
When starting is difficult, it is common practice to remove the distributor cap for the purpose of ascertaining whether the breaker arm is free on its pivot. The ignition must be switched
off, otherwise, should the points be closed, a high voltage surge will occur when they separate. This is liable to cause a breakdown of the secondary insulation and the operator may receive a shock.
