THE ORIGINAL BUILDING used for the Colonial Museum in 1865 has been revealed by the pulling down of the Dominion Museum, at the back of Parliament House. For many years this old building has been used for a variety of purposes, museum exhibits being housed in adjacent quarters, but it is about to be demolished, as has been the rest of the block.
