Group average; 1190 cows, 357 lbs. milk, 5.4 test, 19 lbs. fat per cow; 1 highest herd: 97 cows, 482 lbs. milk, 5.2 test, 25.57 lbs. fat per cow (owners, J. W. Hayes and Son); lowest herd: 30 cows, 194 lbs. milk, 6.2 test, 12.03 lbs. fat; highest cow: 57 lbs. fat (owners, J. W. Hayes and Son). I, \,|b. Group 2: Kaitala-Awanui Group average: 1262 cows, 425, lbs. milk, 5.6 test, 24 lbs. fat per cow; highest herd: 44 cows and 15 cows, 33 lbs. fat per cow (owners, H. M. Thompson, Irvine Bros, and Maugham respectively); lowest herd; 17 *cows, 231 lbs. fat, 5.6 test, 13.06 lbs. fai; highest cows; 52 lbs. fat (owners, 'Ms Irvine Bros., Maugham and D. Si McCorquindale),
Group 3: Fairburns-Kaingaroa Group average: 970 cows, 336 lbs. milk, 5.4 test, 18.01 lbs. fat per cow; highest herd: 30 cows, 35(J lbs. fat, 6.4 test, 30.03 lbs. fat per cow (owner, L. J J. Matthews, Esq., Aurere); lowest % * herd: 68 cow’s, 350 lbs. fat, 3.7 test, 13.01 lbs. fat; highest cow: 44 lbs. fat (owner, L. J. Matthews, Esq.) Summary Association average: 3422 -cows, 376 v lbs. milk, 5.5 test, 20.59 lbs. fat per cow. Association average for Marcji last season was; 2673 cows, 23.9 lbs. fat per cow.
