North Auckland Presbytery
The quarterly meeting of the North Auckland Presbytery was held in the Dargaville Church, on April 19, when the presbytery welcomed the Rt. Rev. T. E. Riddle, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, the Rev. J. M. McKenzie, assistant director of missions and the Rev. M. G. Millmine, of Southland, incoming minister to the church at Dargaville. These gentlemen were welcomed on behalf of the presbytery by the Rev. L. K. Brown, Presbytery Moderator of Northland.
The Whangarei session was appointed interim session for the Northern Manaia charge, which is now in the care of Mr Finnemore. The Rev. E. Way, of Mangapai, reported on the youth work within the presbytery. A Bible class hall has been built at Kaiwaka and it is hoped that the Rev. Riddle will be available’ to perform the opening ceremony. Bible class and Sunday school work is going steadily on throughout the presbytery. Two Easter camps were held at Taurikura. The boys in camp numbered 35 and the young women numbered 52.

ty of the senior members,' A good spiritual tone was manifest throughout.
The convener urged the desirability of holding teachers and leaders’ rallies and fellowships. The annual Bible class day of prayer is to be April 30. The Rev. J. D. McFarlane, of Waipu, was elected moderator for 1939-40.
