Valedictory Mr. Ron. Holder

Mr Ron Holder, assistant clerk of the court, Whangarei, who has been transferred to the Supreme Court, Wellington, was tendered an official farewell by members of the Justice and Police Departments yesterday at the Courthouse.

Mr G. N. Morris, S.M., spoke of Mr Holder’s sterling qualities, and of the high esteem in which the departing officer was held by the staffs of both departments. Speaking for the Police Department, Inspector O’Hara also paid tribute to Mr Holder’s services, while Mr A. J. Ching, Clerk of the Court, Detective J. B, Finlay, and Mr D. McCarroll, Child Welfare Officer, also spoke. Mr Holder was presented with a 'eather attache case and a clock, those sing a joint presentation from the t,. r o departments.
