Kaikohe Railway Staff Changes

Several changes in the Kaikohe railway station staff have taken place recently. Mr. J. H. Urwin, the new stationmaster, who was formerly stationed at Masterton, commenced duty this week in place of Mr L. A. Cooke, who has been transferred to Auckland.

Mr. W. D. Dansen, who has been relieving stationmaster at Okaihau and more recently at Kaikohe, has received notice of his transfer to Maungaturoto, and leaves at an early date. Friends of Mr. H. R. Robinson, also of the station Staff, will regret to learn that he is indisposed, and will be absent from duty for a week. Mr. J. W. Mawson, Government Town Planning Officer, is to visit Kaikohe on March 23 and 24. when he will discuss town planning matters with the Kaikohe Town Board.
