Spotlight on .... Dr. Hugh Dalton
Dr. Hugh Dalton, Labour leader in the House of Commons, who says that Mr Chamberlain’s foreign policy is now visibly in ruins as a result of Hitler's latest action.
Dr. Dalton. would have strong claims for either the Exchequer or the Foreign Office if Labour were in power. He possesses a big booming voice, which can fill the Albert Hall. Tories regard him as a traitor to his class. His father, a Canon of Windsor, was tutor to King George V., and he himself was educated at Cambridge.
