Wallace And White Akerama Highlights

At Akerama the home team defeated Hukerenui by an innings and 13 runs in the Mid-Northern cricket championship.

. Features of the match were a fine batting display by L. Wallace, whose score of 64 included two sixes and six four's, and a spell of deadly bowling by R. White, who was mainly responsible for Hukerenui’s second innings debacle.

White’s average was seven wickets for 10 runs, four of his victims being clean-bowled.

Apart from Wallace, Wilson was the only Akerama batsman to make double figures, his 19 including a six and a four.
