Mr J. A. S. Mac Kay left for Auckland today to attend a meeting of the Executive of the Hospital Boards’ Association.

Having been appointed organiser for the Queen Carnival, Mr R. H. Allan last night resigned his chairmanship and membership of the Pageantry Committee of Sub-Zone 5A (Whangarei).

Messrs H. W. James and G. A. Morphett have been appointed in conjunction with the secretary, Mr C. P. Butler, to call a meeting at Kaikohe of representatives of all organisations interested in the proposal for the establishment of an experimental farm for Northland, the meeting to be held tat a suitable date. Messrs Jamesi and Morphett will represent the council at the conference.
