Death Of Mr. J. Culford Bell

I' Special to “Northern Advocate”] AUCKLAND, This Day. The death occurred today, following a surgical operation, of Mr J. Culford Bell, principal announcer at Radio Station IYA Auckland. Mr Bell was born in London, and came to New Zealand 30 years f ago, after spending part of his youth in Canada and the United States.

On the inauguration of IYA 13 years ago he was appointed senior announcer.

He was well known in dramatic and .elocutionary circles throughout New Zealand.
