Fair And Warm — Special Forecast Fair to cloudy and warm. A few scattered, light, misty showers in the extreme north. Variable and moderate breezes. Seas smooth to moderate. Summery March. Predicted. Forecast for the month of March, 1939, as supplied by Mr. H. M. Vincent, the “Advocate’s” special meteorologist:The general outlook for March indicates the warmest conditions of the summer, with considerable humidity. There will be very fine days, but the rainfall will be much heavier than that experienced in February. Several cyclonic storms are expected, with easterly to north-easterly gales, accompanied by heavy rain, especially during the first week of the month, and about the period between 18th and 23rd, Easterly to northerly winds will prevail.
