Can Bartender Face Louis?
rrxecervec 10 a.m.) DETROIT, February 28. The manager for Joe Louis announced that the champion will meet. Tony Galen to in a 15-round bout for the heavyweight title, at New York, in the last week in June. Fight observers generally have been exceedingly sceptical of the ability of the ex-bartender, who contends he trains on beer, to give Louis a good fight. Louis’s manager agreed reluctantly to the match only after an assurance that Galento’s Italian supporters would guarantee a profitable crowd.
