Mangapai made 107 (Massey 11, Howie 26, McAllister 26, Smith 10, Cameron 12; J. Bint took 2 for 26, IT; Attwood 3 for 31, C. Bint 1 for 11, Temperley 2 for 14, Reid 2 for 17) and 55 (S. Hayward 11, Howie 13, Smith 10; Reid took 8 for 24; Attwood 1 for 5). Maungakaramea Hockey replied with 51 (J, Bint 21; Massey took 4 for 21, Smith 2 for 4, Thomson 2 for 5, Hayward 1 for 2) and 61 (C. Bint 12, Reid 13; Bullott took 1 for 15, Hayward 3 for 20, Thomson 1 for 4, Smith 3 for 7). One Tree Point Succeeds.
At One Tree Point the home side defeated Puwer.a by seven runs on the first innings. One Tree Point made 6B (N. Challenger 12, T. Carr 19, J. Newton 11, B. Sloane 10; R. Elliott took 9 for 45, Everton 1 for 3) and 69 (C. Neil 23, F. Challenger 37 retired; Elliott took 1 for 48, Cox Smith 2 for 9). Puwera totalled 61 (Rex Steedman 17, E. Eliiott 22; Newton took 4 for 13, B. Sloane 6 for 43), and in their second strike had 73 for 7 ,at stumps (Elliott 28, Murray 18; Newton took 1 for 28, Carr 3 for 30, B. Sloane 2 for 9).
