Belgian Cabinet’s Short Lite
(Received 1.30 p.m.) BRUSSELS, February 27. M. Pierlot’s cabinet has resigned. The committee of the Socialist Party previously decided against the proposals of the Finance Minister, who required, as a first measure for the adjustment of the financial situation, a 5 per cent cut in the salaries of civil servants. The committee also declared it impossible to co-operate in the deflation policy. M. PieiTot, a Catholic member ot the Senate, formed a cabinet last, Tuesday after M. Jaspar had failed to do so, following the resignation of Dr. Spaak’s cabinet.
